Runner’s high is a concept that many people are familiar with. Lot less is talked about researcher’s high. But there is no better word to describe the euphoric feeling I had when we finished our first stakeholder meeting yesterday on species recovery after harvesting and how different harvesting models influence biodiversity.
Before the workshop I was worried that maybe I had overbudgeted time for discussion. As it turns out the time allocation was just right. Discussion was active throughout the day and plenty of interesting points were made from defining concepts to potential factors creating heterogeneity in the results. Plenty to chew on when we continue to further develop the systematic review protocol. Thank you, all the participants!
Once finalized, the research protocol will be available for public consultation in this website. We will also organize other workshops during this fall and warmly welcome everyone who wants to attend. If you are interested and our first invitation did not reach you, please let Sini know.
